The Open de Tenis Comunidad Valenciana 2008 was a tennis tournament that took place in Valencia from April 14th to 20th, 2008 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2008 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week the US Men's Clay Court Championships were played in Houston and the Estoril Open in Estoril . Both counted, just like the Open de Tenis Comunidad Valenciana, to the category of the International Series .

Nicolás Almagro was the defending champion in the singles and this year lost in the final against tournament winner David Ferrer in three sets with 6: 4, 2: 6 and 6: 7 2 . This celebrated his sixth career title. Wesley Moodie and Todd Perry were successful in doubles last year , but they did not compete this year. In the final, Máximo González and Juan Mónaco prevailed against Travis Parrott and Filip Polášek with 7: 5 and 7: 5.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 349,000 euros, the total financial liabilities were 370,000 euros.

The qualification took place from April 12-14, 2008. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
