Stephen Huss (born December 10, 1975 in Bendigo , Victoria ) is a retired Australian tennis player . He celebrated his successes exclusively in doubles.
Career
Huss played college tennis at Auburn University from 1996 to 2000 and began his professional career thereafter. His greatest achievement was winning Wimbledon in 2005 alongside Wesley Moodie . He and Moodie were the first qualifiers to win this Grand Slam title. On the way to the title they defeated the three top seeded pairings. Through this success he rose to 32nd place in the double world rankings . His best placement was a 21st place, which he achieved in June 2006. In total, he reached eight other finals in his career, of which he won three.
Huss retired from professional tennis in 2011 after the US Open .
Private life
He has been married to tennis player Milagros Sequera since December 2009 , with whom he has two children.
