Defending champion in the singles was Ivan Ljubičić , who advanced to the final again this year. There he was defeated by local hero Gaël Monfils in three sets with 2: 6, 7: 5 and 1: 6. It was Monfils' first win that year and his third overall. In doubles, the French duo Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut were defending champions, but they no longer took part in the tournament together. While Benneteau no longer participated, Mahut and Arnaud Clément were eliminated in the first round. In the final, the duo Stephen Huss and Ross Hutchins won against Marc López and Eduardo Schwank in three sets. For Huss this was the fourth and final title of his career, Hutchins won his second career title.
The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 650,000 euros; the total financial liabilities were 575,250 euros.
The qualification took place from October 23-25, 2010. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
The following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who had entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round.
