The Open de Moselle 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place in Metz from September 20th to 26th . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played indoors on a hard court. The same week the BCR Open Romania 2010 took place in Bucharest , which, like the Open de Moselle, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The French defending champion Gaël Monfils did not appear in his first round match as second seed, as did fifth seed French Michaël Llodra . Her compatriot Richard Gasquet had to give up due to illness after his victory in the quarter-finals. Another Frenchman, Gilles Simon , won the title, beating German qualifier Mischa Zverev 6: 3, 6: 2 in the final. This won his only title of the year as well as his seventh career title. In doubles, the British defending champions Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski were eliminated in the quarter-finals. The Jamaican Dustin Brown and the Dutchman Rogier Wassen won their first joint title on the ATP World Tour after they had already won a tournament on the ATP Challenger Tour together in August and September 2010 .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize money was 398,250 euros; the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.
