The Moselle Open 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Metz from September 17 to 23, 2018 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the St. Petersburg Open was played in St. Petersburg , which, like the Moselle Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champions were Peter Gojowczyk in singles and Julien Benneteau and Édouard Roger-Vasselin in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round.

The qualification took place from September 15 to 16, 2018. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There were also two lucky losers.
