The Internazionali BNL d'Italia 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Rome from May 13th to 20th, 2018 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played outdoors on a clay court. This season it was the fifth of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category .

Last year's winner in singles was Alexander Zverev , in doubles it was Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The eight top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each received a bye in the first round.

qualification

The qualification took place on May 12th and 13th, 2018. From 28 participants, seven qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
