The Diema Xtra Sofia Open 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Sofia from February 6th to 12th . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the Open Sud de France was played in Montpellier and the Ecuador Open in Quito . Like the Garanti Koza Sofia Open, both belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Local hero Grigor Dimitrov won the last edition of the tournament . The pairing of Viktor Troicki and Nenad Zimonjić won in doubles last year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 501,345 euros; the total financial liabilities were 561,345 euros.

qualification

The qualification took place from February 4th to 5th, 2018. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
