The 2018 Rogers Cup was a tennis tournament that took place in Toronto from August 6th to 12th, 2018 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played outdoors on hard courts. This season it was the sixth of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category . At the same time, the 2018 women's Rogers Cup took place in Montreal .

The defending champion in singles was Alexander Zverev , in doubles Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut won the title last year .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The eight top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize pool was $ 5,315,025; total financial liabilities were $ 5,939,970.

The qualification took place on August 4th and 5th, 2018. Seven qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There were also two lucky losers.
