Artem Sitak ( Russian Артём Юрьевич Ситак , German transcription Artjom Jurjewitsch Sitak ; born February 8, 1986 in Orenburg ) is a Russian - New Zealand tennis player .

Career

Artem Sitak's brother Dmitri Sitak is also a professional tennis player and plays for Russia. Artem Sitak mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated five single and 15 double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he has won six double titles so far. For the 2011 season he moved from the Russian to the New Zealand association. He won his first title on the ATP World Tour in Stuttgart in 2014 . In February 2015 he won his second double title in Montpellier . On June 7, 2010 he was in the top 200 of the double world rankings for the first time , his best ranking he reached in July 2018 with 34th place.

Artem Sitak has played for the New Zealand Davis Cup team since 2011 .
