Ariel Behar (born November 12, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan tennis player . He usually plays in doubles competition.
Career
Ariel Behar mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated three double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he has won the doubles tournament in Bucaramanga in 2012 and the doubles tournament in Košice in 2014. On November 5th, 2012 he broke through the top 200 in the world doubles ranking for the first time and his highest ranking was 167th in November 2012.
Ariel Behar has played for the Uruguayan Davis Cup team since 2009 . For this he competed in nine matches, where he had a balance of 1: 4 and a double balance of 1: 5 in the individual.
In 2011 he was part of the Uruguayan team at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara . He also played for Uruguay at the 2014 South American Games in Chile . He also took part with the Uruguayan team in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
