Jonathan Eysseric (born May 27, 1990 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Jonathan Eysseric mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour .

In 2007 he reached the final of the Australian Open in the junior competition , but lost there against Brydan Klein . At the French Open of the same year he competed in the individual main field, losing in the first round against Olivier Patience in four sets. In doubles he played together with Jérémy Chardy , they lost in the first round against the number 3 seeded pairing Martin Damm / Leander Paes 6: 7 and 6: 7. In the mixed competition he reached the second round on the side of Alizé Cornet . At the side of Kellen Damico he played the junior double final , they lost in two sets against Thomas Fabbiano and Andrej Karattschenja . Another highlight in 2007 was winning the junior double title at the US Open alongside Jérôme Inzerillo .

In 2008 he received a wildcard for the second time for the French Open , where he had to admit defeat to Andy Murray in five sets after a hard fight.

So far, he has celebrated 15 singles and 19 doubles on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he won three tournaments in doubles. In May 2011 he improved to the top 250 of the ATP world rankings in singles for the first time , his highest ranking was position 202 in June 2013.
