Franko Škugor (born September 20, 1987 in Šibenik ) is a Croatian tennis player .

Career

Franko Škugor mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far, he has celebrated four single and four double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he won two titles in singles, and in doubles he has been successful five times. As injuries have thrown him back again and again, a breakthrough on the World Tour has so far not been made. His greatest success in the individual was reaching the quarter-finals at the SkiStar Swedish Open 2010 , where he was defeated by the eventual tournament winner Nicolás Almagro in three sets 6: 4, 4: 6, 0: 6.

In 2015 he played for the Croatian Davis Cup team for the first time .
