Uladsimir Ihnazik ( Belarusian Уладзімір Ігнацік , Russian Владимир Игнатик ; born July 14, 1990 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian tennis player .

Career

In his junior career he has already achieved respectable successes. In 2007 he won the individual competition at the French Open and reached the individual finals at Wimbledon .

As a professional, Ihnazik has so far achieved initial successes, especially on the Challenger Tour . In 2009 he won his first title in Toyota against the Japanese Tatsuma Ito . The second individual title followed in 2011 in Guangzhou , where he defeated Alexander Kudrjawzew straight in two sets. In doubles he has so far secured three titles, one with David Marrero in Saint-Brieuc in 2010 and two with Laurynas Grigelis in Wolfsburg and Cherbourg in 2012. Ihnazik has not yet qualified for a Grand Slam tournament has so far always failed in the qualifying rounds. His debut on the ATP World Tour is pending.

Ihnazik has been playing for the Belarusian Davis Cup team since 2008 .
