Marcelo Demoliner (born January 18, 1989 in Caxias do Sul ) is a Brazilian tennis player .
life and career
Marcelo Demoliner is mainly active on the Challenger Tour , on which he has won 17 titles so far. Of these, he won a total of 15 in double competitions. In the world rankings, he made it into the top 100 for the first time on February 18, 2013 with rank 99. He made his debut on the ATP World Tour in 2010 at the tournament in Costa do Sauípe when he received a wildcard for the main draw.
At the 2016 Australian Open , he tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide , a masking agent for other doping drugs. His points and the prize money won were withdrawn from him, and he was banned from February 1, 2016 for three months until April 30, 2016.
