Gartenriedermühle is a district of the town of Oberviechtach in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The Einöde Gartenriedermühle is about 600 m west of Pirkhof on a small pond to which the Murach is dammed. Between Gartenriedermühle and Hermannsriedermühle (zu Teunz ) the Murach flows through a narrow valley, a breakthrough stretch between the 532 m high Fuchsberg in the north and the 643 m high Roßhaupt in the south.

history

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Gartenriedermühle was listed as part of the Pullenried parish with one house and nine residents. On December 31, 1990, Gartenriedermühle had two residents and was part of the Wildeppenried branch .
