Hermannsriedermühle is a former part of the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Hermannsriedermühle is located about three kilometers northeast of Teunz on the southern slope of the 665 m high Fuchsberg on the Murach , which breaks through the Fuchsberg - Roßhaupt - Massif in a narrow gorge between Gartenriedermühle and Hermannsriedermühle. Hermannsriedermühle is located in the strip between Fuchsberg and the Murach Valley. Cordierite stain aploid occurs in this strip . This is a light-colored rock, which is characterized by rounded spots of embedded blue cordierite. Amphibolite also occurs at Hermannsriedermühle .
