Burkhardsberg is a district of the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf , Bavaria .

Geographical location

Burkhardsberg is located on the upper slope of the 596 to 598 m high plate northeast of Fuchsberg.

history

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Burkhardsberg was listed as part of the Teunz parish with “8 houses and 60 inhabitants”. On December 31, 1990 Burkhardsberg had 32 residents and belonged to the parish of Teunz.

Culture and sights

On the slope east of Burkhardsberg there is an old hut heather , which is preserved by the Bund Naturschutz through intensive grazing with goats.

The Burgenweg runs through Burkhardsberg.

From Kühried , one kilometer away in the north, comes the Franconian Way of St. James , which is marked with a white shell on a light blue background. The next stop on the Franconian Way of St. James is the St. James Church in Fuchsberg, one kilometer south of Burkhardsberg.
