Ödreichersried is a district of the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Ödreichersried is located about 8 kilometers northeast of Teunz on the southern edge of the Tännesberger Forest, which rises north of Ödreichersried with the Hohen Rainstein to a height of 750 meters. On the southern edge of Ödreichertsried, the Höcherlbach rises in several source streams, which flows into the Tannenbach about 4 km further south at the Tannenschleife.

In 1783 the "Dörfl Oedreicheltsried" was assigned to the electoral nursing court Tännesberg , which was administered by the Amberg Rent Office .

Until 1809 the "Einöde Oedreichersrieth" was administered by the Treßwitz district court, which on March 10, 1809 moved its seat to Vohenstrauss .

In 1860 the "Weiler Oedreichertsried" was part of the Parish Pullenried in the deanery Nabburg and consisted of three houses with 20 inhabitants.

On January 1st, 1875 the "Weiler Oedreichersried" had 22 inhabitants, 10 buildings and 21 head of cattle, and belonged to the rural community of Wildstein, which in turn was part of the Oberviechtach regional court.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Ödreichersried was part of the Pullenried parish and had three houses and 15 residents.

Wildstein formed in 1969 together with Burkhardsberg, Gutenfürst, Haidhof, Hermannsried, Höcherlmühle, Kühried, Kühriedermühle, Ödreichersried and Zieglhäuser the community of Wildstein with a total of 475 inhabitants and 1276 hectares.

On December 31, 1990, Ödreichersried had 7 residents and belonged to the Pullenried parish.
