Höcherlmühle is a part of the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Höcherlmühle is located about six kilometers northeast of Teunz am Höcherlbach, which rises about a kilometer further north at Wildstein and flows into the Tannenbach about two kilometers further southwest at the Tannenschleife.

history

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Höcherlmühle was part of the Wildeppenried branch church and had one house and four residents.

Wildstein formed in 1969 together with Burkhardsberg, Gutenfürst, Haidhof, Hermannsried, Höcherlmühle, Kühried, Kühriedermühle, Ödreichersried and Zieglhäuser the community of Wildstein with a total of 475 inhabitants and 1276 hectares.

On December 31, 1990, Höcherlmühle had three residents and was part of the Wildeppenried branch .

In 2002 an earth barn was discovered in an open field near the building .
