Weiherhäusl is a part of the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Weiherhäusl is located about four kilometers north of Teunz on the eastern slope of the 700 meter high Öder Mountain. On the southern edge of Weiherhäusl, some springs arise that form the Miesbach about a kilometer further south near Miesmühle.

history

As of March 23, 1913 (Easter) Weiherhäusl was part of the Teunz parish and had 10 houses and 40 residents.

Zeinried formed in 1969 together with Miesmühle, Neumühle, Ödmiesbach, Pilchau , Schnegelmühle, Schömersdorf and Weiherhäusl the community of Zeinried with a total of 307 inhabitants and 985 hectares.

On December 31, 1990 Weiherhäusl had 22 inhabitants and belonged to the Teunz parish.
