history

In 1895 the intense struggle of many residents - entrepreneurs, priests and others - of the Oberviechtach district for a railway line began. In 1904 the Nabburg - Oberviechtach line was put into operation. By 1913, great efforts had made it possible to extend this stretch to Schönsee . Lind Bahnhof was one of the stations on this railway line. In 1970 Lind station was converted into an unoccupied stop . In 1976 passenger traffic was discontinued, in 1994 goods traffic . At the beginning of the 21st century, the railway line was converted into a cycle path .
