Antelsdorf is a district of the town of Oberviechtach in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf in Bavaria .

Geographical location

Antelsdorf is located right next to Dietersdorf on the plateau between the 525 m high Bühl and the 536 m high Mehlbügel. Antelsdorf is east of Dietersdorf.

In the statistical description of the Upper Palatinate by Joseph von Destouches from 1809, Antelsdorf is mentioned with a house as belonging to Fuchsberg and Teunz . As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Antelsdorf was listed as part of the Oberviechtach parish with 7 houses and 35 inhabitants, while Dietersdorf was part of the Niedermurach parish. On December 31, 1969, Antelsdorf and Dietersdorf both belonged to the municipality of Oberviechtach. On December 31, 1990, Antelsdorf had 38 residents and belonged to the parish of Oberviechtach.
