Knaumühle is a district of the town of Oberviechtach in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The three buildings of the Knaumühle are to the west of Ostmarkstrasse and north of Staatsstrasse 2159 in Steinbachtal .

history

In the report of chaplain Heinrich Beier, Knaumühle is mentioned in 1580 as belonging to the parish of Oberviechtach. On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Knaumühle was listed as part of the Oberviechtach parish with one house and 10 residents. Knaumühle belonged to the municipality of Obermurach on December 31, 1969 . On December 31, 1990 Knaumühle had seven residents and belonged to the parish of Oberviechtach.
