Riccardo Ghedin (born December 5, 1985 in Rome ) is an Italian tennis player .

Career

Riccardo Ghedin mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated five single and eight double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he has won the doubles competition seven times. He celebrated his first success in March 2011 on the island of Guadeloupe , where he won the double competition at Le Gosier alongside Stéphane Robert .

He played his first game on the ATP World Tour in June 2009, where he qualified for the main draw at Wimbledon through the qualifying rounds . In the first round he met the Latvian Ernests Gulbis , to whom he was clearly defeated in three sets. He achieved his best placement in singles on August 10, 2009 with position 222 in the tennis world rankings , and in doubles on August 2016 with position 109.
