Alexander Satschko (born November 12, 1980 in Deggendorf ) is a former German tennis player and coach.

Career

Alexander Satschko mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour and is considered a double specialist. So far he has celebrated ten single and 21 double victories on the Future Tour. So far he has won four doubles tournaments on the Challenger Tour. On September 11, 2006, he broke through the top 300 in the world rankings for the first time in singles and his highest ranking was a 259th place in February 2009. He is far more successful in doubles, where he has so far reached rank 80 in the world rankings. At the If Stockholm Open 2013 he made his debut on the ATP World Tour . On February 8, 2015, Satschko won his first ATP double title with Gero Kretschmer in Quito . Between 2013 and 2017, Satschko and his regular partner won nine doubles titles on the Challenger Tour. After the season, Satschko no longer played professional tournaments after initially playing with changing partners at the end of the year.

After his active time he works as a tennis coach. He led u. a. Peter Gojowczyk to an ATP title and in the top 50.
