The ATP Challenger Naples (official name: Tennis Napoli Cup ) was an annual tennis tournament held in Naples , Italy from 1995 to 2016 . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour and was played outdoors on sand. In 2000 and 2001 the tournament was no longer part of the Challenger tournament series, but was resumed a year later. With three consecutive wins from 2006 to 2008 and another win in 2013, the local hero Potito Starace is the most successful player of the tournament.
