Oliver Gross (born June 17, 1973 in Hanau ) is a former German tennis player .

Career

In the course of his professional career, which began in 1993, the German youth champion from 1991 was able to record as success, among other things, reaching the finals at the 1994 Monaco Grand Prix tournament . Furthermore, between 1994 and 2002 he won a total of ten individual titles on the ATP Challenger Tour . His greatest success in a Grand Slam tournament was in 1998 at the US Open , where he made it to the round of 16, which he lost to Magnus Larsson in four sets. He reached his highest world rankings on May 15, 1995 when he finished 60th. In 2004 he joined the tennis Bundesliga for the TK Kurhaus Aachen club, where he reached the semi-finals.
