The ATP Challenger Athens (official name: "Status Athens Open" ) was a tennis tournament held annually in Athens from 2008 to 2012 . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. Already in 1981 and 1986 one event took place at the same place. Lu Yen-hsun is the record winner of the tournament with one title each in singles and doubles. Vincent Van Patten won both competitors in the first edition.
