The ATP Challenger Lugano (official name: BSI Challenger Lugano ) was an annual tennis tournament held in Lugano from 1999 to 2010 . It belonged to the second highest division in tennis, the ATP Challenger Tour . The tournament took place on the grounds of the Lido Lugano tennis club . The record holder in the singles is the Swiss Stan Wawrinka , who won the tournament twice. In doubles, the Italian Giorgio Galimberti was able to win the tournament three times and is therefore the most successful player in the history of the tournament.
