Career

Scherrer began his professional career in 1998. In his career he won 7 double titles on the Challenger Tour and was twice in the finals of a World Tour tournament . In 2006 he lost in Gstaad at the side of Marco Chiudinelli , in 2009 in Chennai with Stanislas Wawrinka . In Grand Slam tournaments , he achieved his best result in 2008 at the French Open , when he made it to the second round.
