The ATP Challenger Nottingham (official name: Nature Valley Open ) is a tennis tournament in Nottingham , United Kingdom from 2009 to 2014 and from 2017 . It is part of the ATP Challenger Tour and is played outdoors on grass. From 2009 to 2014 it was the only grass tournament on the Challenger Tour, together with the second Challenger tournament, the AEGON Nottingham Challenge , which took place a week later , as part of the Nottingham Tennis Festival . Due to the early timing of the event, it usually started before the actual grass season of the higher-class ATP tournaments. After a tournament was held in Nottingham as part of the ATP World Tour 250 in 2015 and 2016 , they returned to the Challenger Tour in 2017.

Nobody has won multiple times in singles. Local hero Colin Fleming has already won twice in doubles . He won in 2010 and 2011 with different partners.
