Gong Maoxin ( Chinese 公 茂 鑫 , Pinyin Gōng Màoxīn ; born October 24, 1987 in Nanjing ) is a Chinese tennis player .
Career
Gong Maoxin mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . He has celebrated five single and 24 double victories on the Future Tour so far. On the Challenger Tour he has won five double competitions so far.
So far, he has not had any major successes on the ATP World Tour . At the China Open 2010 in Beijing , he and his partner Li Zhe defeated the duo Łukasz Kubot and Oliver Marach in the first round , but they were eliminated in the quarter-finals. Gong Maoxin plays far more successfully in the Davis Cup , where he has been playing regularly for the Chinese Davis Cup team since 2008 . Out of a total of 13 games, he won five, three in doubles and two in singles.
