The China Open 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from October 2 to 10, 2010 in Beijing . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week, the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships were played in Tokyo , which, like the China Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category . The women's China Open also took place in Beijing at the same time as the men's tournament .

The top seeded Serb Novak Đoković was able to defend his title without losing a set. In the final he won 6: 2, 6: 4 against David Ferrer . After winning in Dubai , this was Đoković's second title of the year and his 18th career title. The top seeded US twins Bob and Mike Bryan also defended their title. They got the upper hand against Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski with 6: 1, 7: 6 5 .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was $ 2,100,000; total financial liabilities were $ 3,336,500.

The qualification took place from October 2nd to 3rd, 2010. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
