The BMW Open 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from May 2nd to May 9th 2010 in Munich . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week, the Estoril Open was played in Oeiras and the Serbia Open in Belgrade , which, like the BMW Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the individual was Tomáš Berdych , but this year he was eliminated in the quarter-finals. In this year's final the top seeded Marin Čilić played against the number 2 of the tournament Michail Juschny , who was in the final of the tournament in 2007 and 2009. The Russian won the final 6: 3, 4: 6 and 6: 4 and celebrated his seventh ATP title. Jan Hernych and Ivo Minář won the doubles title last year, but they did not defend their title. The German Michael Kohlmann and the American Eric Butorac made it to the final, but lost there against Oliver Marach and Santiago Ventura , who thus won their only joint title.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 32 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 398,250 euros; the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.
