The Brisbane International 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from January 4th to 10th, 2010 in Brisbane . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on hard courts. The same week the Qatar ExxonMobil Open was played in Doha and the Aircel Chennai Open in Chennai , which, like the Brisbane International, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Radek Štěpánek competed as the defending champion in the singles, losing in this year's final against top seeded Andy Roddick 6: 7 2 , 6: 7 2 , who won his 28th ATP title. In doubles, Marc Gicquel and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga were the defending champions. Gicquel was able to successfully defend the title, but this year he played alongside Jérémy Chardy . In the final they defeated Lukáš Dlouhý and Leander Paes in straight sets.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 372,500 and total financial liabilities were $ 424,250.

The qualification took place from January 1st to 3rd, 2010. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
