The Brisbane International 2011 was a tennis tournament for men, which took place from January 2 to 9, 2011 in Brisbane . It was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. The same week the Qatar ExxonMobil Open was played in Doha and the Aircel Chennai Open in Chennai , which, like the Brisbane International, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category . A women's tournament of the WTA Tour 2011 also took place in Brisbane .

Andy Roddick competed as defending champion in singles, but lost in this year's final against top seeded Robin Söderling , who won his seventh ATP title. In doubles, Jérémy Chardy and Marc Gicquel were the defending champions, but they did not compete this year. It won Lukáš Dlouhý and Paul Hanley , who benefited in the final against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecău from the injury-related abandonment of Lindstedt. This was their first joint ATP title; for Hanley it was the 24th ATP title of his career, for Dlouhý the ninth.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 422,300 and total financial liabilities were $ 474,050.
