Defending champion in the singles was Nikolai Dawydenko , who lost to Roger Federer in this year's final . This won the title for the third time after 2005 and 2006. In doubles, Guillermo García-López and Albert Montañés were the defending champions, but they did not compete together this year. The winners were Marc Lopez and Rafael Nadal , who had won the title in the year of 2009.
