The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place in Doha from December 30, 2013 to January 4, 2014 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2014 and was played on hard court. In the same week the Brisbane International was played in Brisbane and the Aircel Chennai Open in Chennai , which, like the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Last year's individual winner was French Richard Gasquet , who defeated Russian Nikolai Dawydenko in three sets in the final. In this year's final, world number one Rafael Nadal beat Frenchman Gaël Monfils in three sets and, with his 61st career title , surpassed Andre Agassi's mark with 60 titles on the ATP Tour. Christopher Kas and Philipp Kohlschreiber won the last event in doubles . This year, the Czech duo Tomáš Berdych and Jan Hájek clearly prevailed against Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in two sets.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

Qualification for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2014 took place from December 28-30, 2013. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
