The Gerry Weber Open 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 9th to 15th, 2014 in Halle . It was part of the 2014 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on grass. In the same week, the AEGON Championships were played at the Queen’s Club in London , which, like the Gerry Weber Open, belong to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Roger Federer , who won the tournament again and thus celebrated his seventh triumph in Halle. In doubles, Santiago González and Scott Lipsky were the defending champions.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round.

The qualification for the Gerry Weber Open 2014 took place on June 7th and 8th, 2014. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
