The 2014 Citi Open was a tennis tournament that took place in Washington, DC , from July 28th to August 3rd, 2014 . It was part of the 2014 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week was in Kitzbühel of the Bet-at-home Cup Kitzbühel played, but which, unlike the Citi Open which to Category ATP World Tour 500 series , only belongs to the category ATP World Tour 250 belongs. The women's tournament of the WTA Tour 2014 also took place in Washington .

The qualification for the Citi Open 2014 took place on July 26th and 27th, 2014. Six qualifying places that entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament were played out.
