The 2014 Citi Open was a tennis tournament that took place in Washington, DC , from July 28th to August 3rd, 2014 . It was part of the 2014 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week was in Kitzbühel of the Bet-at-home Cup Kitzbühel played, but which, unlike the Citi Open which to Category ATP World Tour 500 series , only belongs to the category ATP World Tour 250 belongs. The women's tournament of the WTA Tour 2014 also took place in Washington .
