The Shenzhen Open 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place in Shenzhen from September 22-28, 2014 . It was part of the 2014 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week, the Malaysian Open was played in Kuala Lumpur , which, like the Shenzhen Open, was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

qualification

Qualification for the Shenzhen Open 2014 took place from September 20th to 22nd, 2014. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
