The Open Sud de France 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 3rd to 9th, 2014 in Pérols near Montpellier . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2014 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week were in Zagreb , the PBZ Zagreb Indoors and in Viña del Mar , the Royal Guard Open Chile played that just like the Open Sud de France to category ATP World Tour 250 counted.

Last year's winner Richard Gasquet reached the final again this year, but lost it to his compatriot Gaël Monfils . Marc Gicquel and Michaël Llodra won the doubles title last year . This year the duo Nikolai Dawydenko and Denis Istomin won the final against Marc Gicquel and Nicolas Mahut .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

qualification

The qualification for the Open Sud de France 2014 took place from 1st to 3rd February 2014. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
