Albano Olivetti (born November 24, 1991 in Haguenau ) is a French tennis player .
Career
Olivetti has mainly played on the ATP Challenger Tour so far . In April 2012 he won his first title there when he won the tournament in Le Gosier on Guadeloupe together with Pierre-Hugues Herbert . He made his Grand Slam debut in 2011 at the French Open in doubles alongside Kenny de Schepper . They survived the first round against Michael Berrer and Florian Mayer , but were then eliminated against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecău . In his first appearance in singles on the ATP World Tour , he caused a surprise in February 2012 when he qualified for a main draw in Marseille for the first time and made it to the quarter-finals. He overcame Matthias Bachinger smoothly in two sets and then threw the top 10 player Mardy Fish, who was in second place, out of the tournament in a hard-fought three-set match. He then lost to his compatriot Michaël Llodra in two sentences.
