Paul Jason Hanley (born November 12, 1977 in Melbourne ) is a retired Australian tennis player .
Career
The doubles specialist has won 22 doubles titles in his career, including three in the Masters Series category. He reached a final 19 times. In all four Grand Slam tournaments , he played his way to the semifinals at least once, but he was denied the finals. However, he succeeded in 2005 in the mixed competition at Wimbledon with partner Tetjana Perebyjnis the advance into the final, in which the duo Mary Pierce and Mahesh Bhupathi lost.
He achieved his highest world rankings in 2000 with position 395 in singles and in 2006 with position 5 in doubles.
Paul Hanley ended his career in September 2014. He then took on a training and management commitment at his home club in Australia.
