Kevin Bishop (born June 18, 1980 in Orpington ) is a British actor .

Life

After starring in the television series Grange Hill , he was cast as Jim Hawkins in the 1996 film Muppet Treasure Island . He then starred in various British television series such as Pie in the Sky, Love Soup, My Family, Peep Show and Spoons . He played the title role in the 2002 television pantomime Dick Whittington and the lead role in the film The Fruits of Love .

In 2005 he played the comedian Dudley Moore on stage in Pete and Dud: Come Again , a drama that revolves around the tumultuous relationship between Dudley Moore and Peter Cook .

In 2006 he featured in Channel 4's British Comedy Awards- winning Comedy Stories . He is currently promoting NatWest Bank in English print media. His pilot of the show Comedy Showcase - Kevin Bishop on Channel 4 has a six-part episode for Fall 2008.
