Defending champion in the singles was Andy Murray , who did not take part in the tournament this year. In the final, Robin Söderling prevailed against Mikhail Juschny in two sets, with the Russian having to give up the game due to injury when the score was 6: 4, 2: 0. It was Söderling's first tournament victory in a World Tour 500 tournament and his fifth overall title. Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjić competed in doubles, successfully defending their title.
