The ARAG World Team Cup 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from May 16-22, 2010. It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week, the Open de Nice Côte d'Azur was played in Nice , which, like the World Team Cup, was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category . The organizer was the Düsseldorf Rochus Club .
Last year's winner Serbia was eliminated in the 2010 tournament during the group stage. In the final Argentina defeated the United States and secured the title of tennis team world champion for the fourth time.
A total of eight teams took part. From two groups of four, the group leaders made it into the final and competed against each other. In the event of a tie, the direct comparison counted.
Prize money and world ranking points
The teams were paid the following prize money for reaching the respective group placement or round. In addition to the team ranking, there was prize money for the number of wins in doubles and for reaching doubles in the final.
