The BCR Open Romania 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place in Bucharest from September 20 to September 26, 2010 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on sand. The same week the Open de Moselle 2010 took place in Metz , which, like the BCR Open Romania, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the individual competition was the Spaniard Albert Montañés , who was eliminated in the semifinals against Juan Ignacio Chela . In the final, he was able to defeat Pablo Andújar 7: 5, 6: 1 and win his sixth title on the World Tour. In the double competition, František Čermák and Michal Mertiňák did not defend their title. Chela and Pole Łukasz Kubot won their first joint ATP title.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye in the first round. The total prize money was 368,450 euros; the total financial liabilities were 420,200 euros.

The qualification took place from September 18-20, 2010. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
