The FRG Năstase Țiriac Trophy 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place in Bucharest from April 21 to 27, 2014 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2014 and was played on clay court. In the same week the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell was played in Barcelona . However, in contrast to the BRD Năstase Țiriac Trophy, which only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category, the latter belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Lukáš Rosol , who also reached the final this year. In this he was defeated by the top seeded Grigor Dimitrov 7: 6 2 and 6: 1. In doubles, Max Mirny and Horia Tecău were last year's winners, but they did not compete again together. Only Tecău took part together with his new partner Jean-Julien Rojer this year and was able to successfully defend his title.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.
