The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 10 to 16, 2014 in Rotterdam . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2014 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the Copa Claro was played in Buenos Aires and the US National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis . In contrast to the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category, these were only included in the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champion in the singles Juan Martín del Potro started this year in the top position, but was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Ernests Gulbis . This in turn failed in the semifinals against the Czech Tomáš Berdych , who also won the final. He won this clearly in two sets against Marin Čilić and celebrated his ninth tournament win in individual.

Robert Lindstedt and Nenad Zimonjić won the doubles title last year . They started with new partners this year and were eliminated from the tournament early on. The French duo Michaël Llodra and Nicolas Mahut won the final . They defeated Jean-Julien Rojer, who started for the Netherlands, and his Romanian partner Horia Tecău in straight sets.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.
